On April 13th, 2018, Aventine was launched and we haven’t looked back since. We have reached some considerable milestones within the firm and have engaged in Fiduciary relationships with over 50 family households across 10 different states! We are proud of the strides we have made and the impact we have had on our clients’ lives.
How it All Began
As author Marie Forleo puts it, “Never start a business to make money. Start a business to make a difference.”
This philosophy is exactly why Aventine exists today. As knowledgeable and seasoned financial professionals, Aventine was our opportunity to create an investment advisory firm that would put client service above all else.
Financial planning, wealth management, risk mitigation, and estate planning are complicated areas to navigate for someone without appropriate knowledge. Finding an advisor to trust is difficult and often discourages investors who should seek financial guidance from actually doing so.
With that in mind, we set out to found Aventine on the highest level of Fiduciary standard and integrity. Our goal was to create an environment where our clients would feel like partners, confident their best interests were always being protected.
Important First-Year Milestone for Aventine
Initially, Aventine Financial Group, LLC was registered as an investment adviser in New York state. Once the Firm’s assets under management exceeded $25 Million, the Firm was required to transition from an investment adviser registered with the State of New York to an investment adviser registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
While our increase in assets under management is a reflection of the Firm’s growth, it is important to note that registration with the SEC as an investment adviser does not imply any level of skill or training.

As experienced Certified Financial Planners, we knew that we were passionate about client success—helping you save money, invest for the future, and take control of your finances. What we didn’t expect was how rewarding it would be to build our own environment where clients could succeed.
There is no better feeling in the world than knowing you have improved someone’s financial life. Whether it has been saving clients from the high fees associated with broker-dealer relationships or analyzing a family’s overall tax burden, the work we do at Aventine has been a very rewarding and fulfilling experience for the both of us.
Recently, a client sent us a hand-written letter along with a 1975 Yankees autographed baseball from the entire 27-man roster to thank us for our help. The sense of gratitude we have received from our clients has been overwhelming.
Yes, the market is going to go up, and the market is going to go down, but in the long-run, you will win by doing what is right for your clients. Despite whatever economic fluctuations may arise, our commitment to our clients’ success will always remain constant.
